NEXT WORKSHOP: KANBAN SYSTEM DESIGN (KMP-I) on JAN 3 - 4

Kanban Management Professional (KMP)

The Kanban Management Professional credential demonstrates proficiency in Kanban methodology and the ability to design a Kanban system, evolve it, and scale it beyond the team. The KMP credential is globally recognized within the agile and lean communities, enhancing professional credibility and marketability.

Start your KMP journey with the Kanban System Design course, which teaches you the basics of Kanban, flow, and how to design a Kanban system.

Learn to proactively discover these challenges and apply techniques to improve or smooth the flow of work in the Kanban for Systems Improvement (KSI) course. Manage and optimize your Kanban systems using metrics and evolutionary change.

Kanban System Design (KSD/KMP-I) - 2 days

Kanban begins by developing and visualizing a shared understanding of the current workflow. We assess how processes are functioning and identify areas of dissatisfaction. From there, we identify and implement improvements. The Kanban System Design course offers foundational knowledge of The Kanban Method and guides students through understanding their systems, enabling them to design a suitable Kanban system that meets their needs. By grasping the core concepts of The Kanban Method, you will be equipped to design a Kanban system that enhances visibility, communication, and collaboration within your team.

You learned the basics of Kanban and how to design a single system in the Kanban System Design course. The next step on your journey is to learn how to scale out to multiple connected systems. In Kanban Systems Improvement, you will learn how to manage and optimize those systems using metrics and evolutionary change. In any workflow system there will be sources of delay, variability, and bottlenecks. Learn to proactively discover these challenges and then apply techniques to improve or smooth the flow of work.
